Dear Parents,
Happy Catholic Schools Week!  Our week is off to a great start and judging by the clothing of the last two days, our students and teachers are enjoying the activities.  Don't forget, on Friday, we will have our annual Pep Rally with a new twist.  After the pep rally at 12:30, we will have mini basketball games, featuring parents vs. teachers, 7th/8th grade girls vs. 7th/8th grade boys and 5th/6th grade girls vs. 5th/6th grade boys.  If you would like to play, please let me know.  You are also welcome to come and watch the fun!

We welcome Father Craig Lusk to our church and school.  Please make him feel welcome as he settles into the community.  Join us at his Installation Mass at 7pm on Monday, February 15th at the church.  

Thursday and Friday of this week we are holding a Bake Sale with money going to the Haiti Fund through the Catholic Relief Services.  We are still collecting loose change in our classrooms for this fund as well.  If you are interested in bringing in a baked treat, please bring it to Mrs. Johnson's room on Thursday or Friday morning.

Mardi gras is set for Saturday night at the Marina Grand.  There will be both Silent and Live Auctions, dinner, dancing and fun!  Festivities begin at 5:30, come and join us and bring your friends.  Tickets can still be purchased at the door.  

Burger King coupon books are in this week's envelopes.  See the flyer, also in the envelope.  

Conferences are next week, Thursday, February 11th.  If you would like a conference with the teacher, please contact them to schedule an appointment.  Conferences will take place from 11:30 to 3:00pm.  A reminder that we have Friday, February 12th and Monday, February 15th off from school.  Enjoy the break.
