Halloween party is on Oct. 30. The parade starts at 1:30. Send your child's costume in a bag. We will begin getting dressed at 1:15.  Parents are welcome!!
We are learning our first word this week. Watch for a book to come home with the new word! Bring it back by next Wed. Thanks!
We started show-and-tell yesterday!  Great job!

Wednesday Morning Snack
	Mrs Coffeen will be coming every Wednesday to help us make a special snack.  We made the letter of our first name out of bread dough and baked it. Yummy!  Thank you!! Mrs. Coffeen. Week of Sept. 21 We made pudding, but instead of stirring it, shook it. FUN!

Thursday –Science Day

We are learning how to be scientist. First they ask questions, then make a prediction. Then set up an experiment to find out the answer. Austin asked, "What would happen if you dropped a pencil in the water?"  As scientist we each guessed if the pencil would float or sink. 4 guessed it would float and 2 thought it would sink. We discovered that the pencil floats when you drop it in the water in our water table. We also discovered that boats float and scissors sink.

Decorating the City of New Buffalo Christmas Tree
	Kindergarten is going to City Hall to help decorate the Christmas tree on December 1st at 9:30am.
