Welcome Parents!

     (Please bear with me, as this page is under construction)  

     I am so excited about the new year here at St. Mary of the Lake School.  Our classroom is set up and I'm planning my lessons!  I can't wait to meet you and your student, and I hope you're looking forward to a year full of learning!

     If possible, please send a clipboard with your child.  We do a lot of partner and group activities away from our desks each day, so students need something sturdy to write on.  Also, our classroom is in need of 4 mouse pads and 5 or 6 sturdy, plastic magazine holders.  (They will be used for student book baskets).  If you happen to have any of these items hanging around your house, we sure would appreciate having them!  

     I will be sending a lot of important information home during the first week of school regarding homework, rules, curriculum, my policies, etc., and I will also be calling you to introduce myself, and talk with you about your student.  It will help me to get to know them and their needs for the upcoming year.  I would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have at that time.
