Art activities at St. Mary of the Lake School give emphasis to the value of active learning and aim to encourage pupils to think inventively, to develop manipulative skills, to create visual images and to form critical judgements.

In addition to drawing and painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, and graphics, our classes have many links with other areas of the curriculum. Stage and set design, thematic events, such as fundraising, visual displays, awareness campaigns, seasonal celebrations and many more.

Styrofoam meat trays, which we use for printmaking
