Educational Background
I graduated from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a Masters degree in Education. I received my elementary certification from the University Of Dayton.
My teaching experience as been quite varied and has covered the states of Ohio, Illinois and now Michigan. I have taught at many different teaching levels from Junior College to the Department of Corrections! I feel as if I have come full circle now, my first teaching job was at a Catholic school in Ohio.
My husband Tom and I moved to Saint Joseph, MI. in August of 2005 with the Whirlpool take over of Maytag Corp. It was difficult to leave Galesburg, IL. where we lived for almost 20 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Meridith and Ardith, who are making their mark on the world! We are so very proud of them; both are talented and hard working young ladies.
